quincy gaskell 5/5 2 weeks ago Don’t forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your stay. This web site will compare countless hotel sites and normally will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the best in the area. I’ve been staying here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you will love it I’m sure! Talk about the Disney experience! Every single member of the staff at the Ritz Carlton made us feel welcome and went above and beyond in every aspect (they even knew us by name)! With so many fun things to do, great food, and private beach access, it’s going to be hard to top this vacation. Any way I can give six stars?? | Christine Greenberg 5/5 a month ago The Ritz Carlton South Beach is my favorite hotel in South Beach Miami. It’s a fabulous location and beautiful property. I love the pool setting overlooking the beach, as well as the pool and beach side restaurants. It’s a great choice for both business and leisure travel or meetings. I’ve attended several conferences at this hotel and they were extremely well done. The team at this hotel is top notch. | Jaketia Taylor 4/5 2 weeks ago Pool decent size. Bar and food service available at poolside. Extremely pricey but afterall it’s The Ritz! 2 drinks poolside $50 easy. Otherwise decent experience. Great views & proximity to beach ⛱. |

Eliza Bonet 5/5 3 weeks ago Stayed here with my boyfriend, and we had a great time. The bed was comfy, the front desk service was very helpful, and the location is great. Close to everything. We had such a great time that I’m coming back and staying again! | Andres Estevez 5/5 2 weeks ago This Hotel was amazing the pool was awesome and the hotel has alot of amenities such as a fridge that a 4 star hotel would have. Some have said that this hotel was dirty but it was far from dirty it was very clean and looked very close to the pictures without the blue pillows. The 150 bus stops right by here and takes you straight to the airport and it is close to litterally all the good food beach and everything you need and want. Will definitely be staying here again. | Robert Feliciano 4/5 2 months ago The experience was amazing being in South Beach, the hotel was placed in perfect location. We just didn’t have windows we could open. Also they sprung an additional fee on us at check in. But besides these things I would definitely recommend. |

Emel 1/5 a week ago I did a reservasition by online for my husband. They were on the way and could arrive 1 hour late. I called so many times to let them know about estimated 1 hour late check in. The operator did not pick up the phone after so many times I called finally someone picked up the phone. He kept me on phone more than 12 minutes. He was extremely rude. | Mirna Hughes 5/5 in the last week Stayed one night in room 201 and everything was great! Don’t understand the negative reviews. Room was clean and bathroom was definitely updated recently. Only gripe was the hallway smelled like weed and cigarette smoke. Pool is small but decent! Don’t forget the beach is one block over. | Nargiz Sadigova 1/5 2 months ago The place was okay clean, breakfast was okay. But their toaster did not work and every morning you have to ask for help to take out your croissants. It bothered me a lot. They do not answer the phone, even they seat there. |

Godly Potato 2/5 a month ago If I were to use 1 word to describe this hotel it would be catfishes. For a 4 star hotel this place is more like sleeping in a sewer. The hotel lures you in with stunning pictures of rooms. And a clean large pool. But in reality the rooms are dark , damp, have blood stained walls and floors. The room Keys take at least a minimum of a dozen tries and even then I had to replace it every day. It appears like they open every door in the hotel. The pool is small and dirty not appropriate to make people go in it. This hotel gave us blankets that were rougher then the towels. Mine even had a hole in it. My son froze as he slept on the sofa bed. They gave us a twin bed instead of a king even though we paid extra for it. The rooms smelled like smoke and aren’t sound proof at all. I could constantly hear people yelling. The hotel ran out of water bottles and I had to buy it from a restaurant. The rooms weren’t cleaned once in our 5 days there. I’m extremely saddened and disappointed that for the money I spent on this hotel I could’ve stayed at the intercontinental hotel and payed less money. Over all our stay here was terrible I never want to return to Miami again. The only good thing about this hotel is it’s beach access and the staff. Staff are kind and tried to be helpful but are overworked. The whole establishment is understaffed and lacks proper resources for its guests and workers. Please do not stay here especially not with family | May Lee 5/5 2 weeks ago We stayed in the two story bungalow & it was EVERYTHING! Perfectly located right by the pool which was only a few steps outside our door, walk a little further and the beach was right there! The customer service was great! They are very helpful and never made us feel like we were asking for too much. It was the perfect location as well! Highly recommend! The only complaints I did have was the shower door didn’t really keep the water in the shower so after anyone showered the floor was soaking wet, however they always provided us enough towels so we can keep the floor dry so it didn’t really bother us. The food did take forever as well whenever we ordered, and food was super expensive for a very small portion & the two story bungalow does not offer a microwave whereas the regular rooms do. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel, we had a blast for a bachelorette here. | Mica L. 1/5 2 weeks ago My stay at this hotel was decent my problem started after checkout! It’s been two weeks and I still have not received my deposit refund! I checked out on August 1st! I have called over a dozen times and everyone passes the buck! I have been told multiple dates that my money would be refunded to me and it still has not been refunded! I cannot get a manager on the phone and no one answers emails! If my deposit was not going to be returned to me they could have at least offered me an extra couple of nights! I have never experienced such poor customer service! |

danelle cooper 5/5 3 weeks ago The hotel is amazing, clean and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. I was nervous about staying at large resort however, I felt like I was given personalized attention from staff. I rented a bed by the pool for a great price but I will definitely rent a cabana the next time. Jesus was the best! He gave us great suggestions for restaurants and night life. He was personable and definitely handsome!!! | Barbara Hamilton 5/5 a month ago Beautiful and sparkling clean hotel with a convenient location just a short walk to Ocean Drive and easy beach access. We chose the partial ocean view balcony room that also overlooked the pool area. It really seemed more like an ocean view, which was beautiful and also had a view of the city. The king size bed was very comfortable and the room size was just right. The hotel staff was absolutely exceptional and made our stay memorable. From our greeting at the front door, to the helpful suggestions from the Concierge on great dining spots, to the fun and friendly pool staff, our stay was exceptional. Kids are entertained poolside by warm and friendly “Coach” who gives smiles and laughs along with a treat or two. Alex, the pool manager, makes sure everything runs smoothly and does a great job. Everyone is smiling, happy, and welcoming. Poolside service for food and drinks is remarkably fast. Highly recommend. | Karen Marrero 5/5 3 months ago This was my first time staying at Loews Miami. 3 friends and myself stayed for 3 nights to celebrate my birthday. It was outstanding. Any issues or questions were answered via text. The ocean view room with a balcony was perfect. The pool and the beach were perfect. Everyone we interacted with from the staff was friendly and kind. Priscilla Rodriguez 4/5 in the last week Overall lovely property! My only issues were: Secondly, for price of drinks, I would appreciate that they were stronger. Much to be desired in this aspect. | Carrye Abdullah-Lake 5/5 3 weeks ago 10 out of 10. GORGEOUS property. The longest pool I’ve ever seen in the US. When you first walk into the hotel it smells AWESOME!!!! No funny smells or bad odors, regularly saw staff wiping and sanitizing seats and surfaces. Candles lit, land Sanitizer stations, friendly staff-consistently. The hallway to the rooms smell amazing. Carpet is clean, floors look freshly mopped each day. WILL STAY again in the near future-hands down! | Georgia Duszynski 5/5 3 weeks ago The hotel is a classic, I could spend hours just sitting in the lobby admiring all the unique decor. Queen NicNic 1/5 in the last week It was horrible I didn’t stay they had roaches and the pictures online doesn’t look how the hotel looks in person. It’s dirty and old I’m fighting to get my refund because I never stayed I left immediately after looking at the room! I want me refund back they stood $451 and they refuse to give me my money after the manager herself promised me I would get a refund ! I’m contacting an attorney! I’m tired of fighting for my money back! I’m pretty sure all of the good reviews are lies | Kenneth L. The location is great and the price is right. Amanda Adamson 2/5 3 weeks ago We went on a vacation with friends that chose the hotel. I wish I looked at reviews before our stay. There were 3 buildings, and two of them you had to walk through a restaurant to get to our room. Our lucky room was right above the speakers to the nightlife and had trouble sleeping because of this. The room didn’t have a fitted sheet on the bed and the room overall was really dirty. The shower looked awful, there was even a used band-aid on the shower floor. There was no housekeeping during our stay, if you wanted a towel or more toilet paper, you had to go to another building to ask for it. We did not have a fridge in our room (our friend’s rooms did) and the ice machine was broken (which was in the main building, not in ours). I asked for beach towels and they “ran out”. The price per night was extremely high for the quality of stay. Overall, if I visited Miami again, I would 100% stay elsewhere. PROS – 2 minutes walking distance from the beach and a lot of restaurants/stores/bars within walking distance. Our air in our room worked very well and was a nice icebox every time we entered it from the hot sun. | Julia Wolf 4/5 a week ago The Catalina is at a great location and we really enjoyed the taqueria next door. The room itself was kind of small. We originally were out in a room that was a little drab, but we requested to switch to a different one which ended up being much nicer. The best part about our stay was definitely the staff. They were all so nice and friendly, and we really enjoyed talking to them. I also loved that there was always a security guard in the lobby, which made me feel safe. The patio on the front was playing good music the whole time, and it was great to sit outside and take in the views. | Mary Kellems 4/5 6 months ago I read all of the reviews after we booked.. I had a great experience here… The room was clean and exactly like the photo.. The hotel staff was helpful… I give it 4 stars… They didn’t answer the phone when we called but it was very busy…. All in all it was A great place to go. |

angela Bumgarner 1/5 3 weeks ago We unfortunately did not enjoy our stay here. The staff was very sweet and accommodating as they could be. However, our whole floor smelled like weed. We had to put towels down at the door to block the smell. The 2nd night, we were moved to a different floor. The rooms were small for the price (but great location). Tiniest fridge, cramped elevators, no microwave, and sheets in both rooms had stains on them. I was very disappointed in the quality of room for the price. I would not stay here again. The only saving grace was how kind the front desk was. More of a party hotel vs. comfort it seemed. | Erik Mahler 1/5 in the last week If you are in your early 20’s, and in Miami with friends to party, great place to stay. If you have graduated beyond Motel 6’s in your life, stay elsewhere. Have been waiting 3 weeks for the GM (who no one would tell me her name) and/or ownership to call me back. Reached out to ownership group via phone and email. No response. On the plus side, after several hours on the phone with Marriott and the hotel, we were fully refunded for the one night we were there. Moved to a new hotel for the remainder of our stay. Stay elsewhere if you possibly can. | Trissy Brown 3/5 a month ago Check in staff was friendly and worked to get us the earliest checking possible but rooms were slow to become available. Recommended some great restuarants for breakfast while we waited. The AC in the room was not very cool at all, cold water didn’t stay cool very long and there were no wash clothes in the room or when they serviced the room. We had to request them each time. Otherwise great location and room was nice with a large bed and half circle couch and sort of secluded in the back corner that we loved. |

The staff is super friendly, the service amazing. The location. It’s one of the oldest properties at the beach. And they have maintained it super well. The pool is the USP it’s the most photographed pool in the US. The rooms as spacious and the service is on point. Their pool parties are also too good | Ignacio Cetrangolo 4/5 2 years ago This a very nice hotel in an awesome location with a secluded pool outside and access to the beach right behind it. Its decor is straight vintage and has that art deco Miami feel to it. Our stay for a few nights was good overall and I wish that there was some sort of breakfast included or that the restaurants/bar options were cheaper. |

Shanese Lawson-Smith 1/5 2 weeks ago Do NOT book with this hotel! Their policies and presentation are very misleading. My review is long so that others will understand the horrible practices and utter lack of hospitality and civility at this hotel! Their focus on hospitality and customer service is non-existent. If I could give a lower rating I would. My 68-year old mother wanted to book a trip for herself, my sister and I on her own. She called and worked directly with the hotel to make sure the accommodations were right after researching on-line. She needed accommodations in a 1 or 2-bedroom suite for three adults at a 4star hotel, with access to restaurants and spa services on-site. If you read the propaganda posted you’d believe this hotel was that, especially when you call and confirm such with hotel staff, but it wasn’t even close. We were given a room with a king bed and 2 chaise lounges. There were several things in living area and bathroom complete in disrepair. The furniture was worn. There were plastic bags tied around the smoke detectors in our room. The entry and common areas were dirty and in need of service. When we questioned the room-type we were assigned we were told all the suites in the hotel were 1 king bed and a sofa-bed. When we advised there was no sofa-bed in our room we were told we didn’t get there early enough for a room with a sofa-bed. When we told them an hour after we checked in we couldn’t stay because we were traveling with a person with a disability and accommodations wouldn’t work we were told we’d be charged for the first night and if we needed to complain we could reach the Manager the next morning at 8am when he arrived. We were not even offered a fake “we’re so sorry”; just a bill. We found other accommodations and departed. As if all this want horrible enough, the next morning it all became more ridiculous. When I called and asked for the Manager, Marcos, I was told he didn’t work on the weekends ever. The gentlemen who answered the phone asked what the issue was and after I explained ( quite respectfully) he asked me if I was still a guest of the hotel. I told him I was not and he responded “ well then you have solved the issue and we have no problem. We don’t owe you any money, we won’t be issuing a refund of your first night ($697), we don’t owe you an apology and we don’t need to hear from you further.” and then he hung up! I have travelled to many places and have never had an experience like this! I am excessively disappointed that IHG has a hotel of this low caliber in their network at such a popular destination. I think this hotel likely makes a ton of money from keeping the first night’s deposit of people who don’t stay! | Kaitlyn Huggins 2/5 a month ago Stay here for a week with my husband. The pictures DO NOT look like the hotel, i think the pictures are from many many years ago. The building itself needs to be pressure washed. The furniture is very dated and the leather is falling off the sofas . There is no spa or room messages available even for the spa rooms. They do not serve the room until you leave , we had to beg for clean towels every say. The first night we were there the fire alarm went off at 5am for no reason. However, the location is great its in the middle of everything. The restaurant also had really good food. The valet service is also nice but it cost a lot. THE PRICE IS NOT WORTH IT !!!! | Cassie Caldwell 2/5 a month ago Where do I begin, first the price I was quoted online was different once I arrived by almost $1000, 2nd I requested a pool view room and was willing to pay which I didn’t get, we were there celebrating my boyfriends birthday and the vibe at the hotel was extremely dull, pool was very dirty and while we were sitting at the pool with another couple at the highboys 3 rats ran across the ground and jumped into the flower pots, next our shower didn’t have hot water for a day, the sink was clogged and when I had an issue about my bill the front desk agent Matthew was snotty and told me to call him whatever refusing to give me his name at first. I didn’t approach him with an attitude I just wanted understanding and he gave me an attitude considering I’m paying $3200 to stay here for 6 days. Within 6 days we didn’t get a chance to use the pool not only because of the rain but mostly due to the fact I didn’t want to swim with rats and the pool hadn’t been cleaned. Not to mentioned the fire alarm went off twice during our stay once we had to evacuate at 5 in the morning and the other time it went off at 7am briefly. This was the worst Miami experience I’ve ever had in my 14 years of visiting south beach making it a blah birthday with hotel issues for my boyfriend. I do mot recommend this place especially for the high prices, hotel is not as advertised. |

Andrew “Cam” Trask 5/5 3 weeks ago We had such an amazing time here that we extended our trip by two nights. It’s the classiest hotel on the strip, so much character exploding from every room. The location to the beach is perfect, a short walk and they set you up with complimentary chairs, umbrella and towels. The staff also stood out, they were so incredibly helpful and kind and had a great attitude even bundled up in their long sleeved uniforms in the scorching hot sun on the front porch. Rene was awesome, I wish I could remember all their names. Thank you so much for the memories, we’ll be back! | Gianna Balasco 5/5 3 months ago The Betsy Hotel allows you to enjoy all the energy and culture that South Beach has to offer while staying in a gorgeous and comfortable space. I felt incredibly well taken care for and was totally impressed by the attentive and charismatic staff members. From the front desk staff, to the bellhops, and the bartenders on the pool deck, it’s clear The Betsy prides itself on hiring people that care about the hotel guests and take pride in being apart of The Betsy team. The hotel has two wonderful pools, the perfect little gym, and a delicious restaurant. Although the hotel was fully booked during my stay, my friend and I had no trouble getting space by the pool, reservations at the gym, or chairs and an umbrella on the beach. The Betsy has a wonderful text message service that allows you to send a message anytime you’re in need of something without getting up or touching the phone. Best part of it all, the food and cocktails in the hotel are actually delicious— I highly suggest ordering the fish tacos during your stay. | Kelly Estep 5/5 2 months ago What a lovely place to stay! My daughter and I had the pleasure to stay here for 3 nights and could not have been happier. Juan helped us to our room and gave us a mini-tour on our way with info about the art, the library, the amazing book elevator, and so many other small details that make this a special place. I am always impressed with employees who are happy and like where they work–it means a lot. Service in the restaurant, bar, and valet was impeccable. The beach is beautiful and it was seamless to get chairs, umbrella, and towels. It was noisy outside in the mornings and at night, but it’s Miami Beach and that is no reflection on the hotel. Would stay here again without question! |

Furious Mat 5/5 4 months ago I’m giving this a 5/5 really. I went there at what was maybe the worst moment in my entire life. Flew to Miami on a whim, buying my ticket about 24h before leaving. And the place managed to make me feel soothed and at ease for the entire week. Was able to use the gym every morning, grab a healthy breakfast, relax, sleep very well. The location was great, you step out and walk and right there you have a bunch of restaurants. Or you can exit by the terrace outside and end up directly on the beach without crossing a street. The staff was eagerly helpful and super charming. The room was very clean and I loved its design, it was very bright, the AC was tip top, everything smelled like heaven. Honestly the only reason I’m not going back is the price. Yes the place is a bit expensive (although it’s more that Miami itself is pretty expensive… they’re not the most expensive at all), especially the drinks. But really I don’t regret a single dollar spent on this holiday. Again, I was basically scrapping the bottom of the barrel when I decided to go, and yet, whenever I remember this hotel I remember only positive things. If I could afford it at the moment, I would go again. Highly recommend. | Kendra Jackson 5/5 2 months ago We came here to celebrate my Husband’s Birthday, we didn’t want to leave. The area is perfect, the room, the view…give it a try and see for yourself! It’s been over a year since we visited, still dreaming about this place. | Alex Cochran 5/5 10 months ago A modern-style hotel for those who want to be pampered and play in Miami’s beautiful South Beach. The nightlife isn’t hectic, but you can find a spot by the two pools, the patio/garden, the Red Room, or the beach to party. The 4th of July and New Years Eve are the largest party times, but even in my room overlooking the party on the night of the 4th I barely heard a sound. The stone walls and floors most likely help with this. If quieter relaxation is your style, the spa offers a variety of services including manicures, pedicures, massages, and facials. The hotel restaurant, Dies y Siez, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with delicious local foods and modern takes on classic Spanish heritage dishes. There is also a bar on the beach with chairs and umbrellas included in the resort fee. If you are looking to explore Miami, a house car is available to take you anywhere within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. Otherwise, cabs can be requested by the valet. For travel to the Miami Airport, cabs offer a flat $35 fee, which is less expensive than cans traveling the opposite way. The rooms are modern minimalistic and meant more as a place to sleep and dress between the beach and clubbing, but are perfectly fine for a night in watching tv. The mini-bar is expensive, but offers sodas, alcohols, wines, spirits, and food. If the room hosts adults, a “couple’s kit” is available as well. For around $35. Overall, the Shore Club is a great place for those who enjoy the nightlife as well as those looking to enjoy the finer things South Beach has to offer. |

Art Rozenbaum 2/5 3 weeks ago This hotel is EXTREMELY dirty. I had to ask for new towels twice before I could get some that were not full of stains or various types of hair. The couch in the room has a fabric cover that is supposed to be removed and cleaned between each guest. This cover has clearly NEVER been removed. It was covered by multiple stains, I don’t even want to know what they are. The couch couldn’t be touched, it was too dirty and disgusting. The only thing it was good for was to pile all the dirty towels and pillows on it that also couldn’t be used. The pillows were also dirty. The room comes with one BIG pillow that acts more like a headboard, and a few little half-size throw pillows. The big headboard pillow was COVERED in stains, and didn’t even have a pillow cover. I don’t think it has ever been washed. About half of the little pillows had either stains or hair as well. So the room only has about 4 little pillows that are actually usable. Plus since there’s no headboard, and the big pillow can’t be used, it’s pretty uncomfortable. When I asked for new pillows, they told me they do not have any other ones. The common areas are just as dirty. I don’t understand how they keep getting away with charging the extra $35/night “resort” fee. This “resort” is filthy, they have no pool, no bar, no nothing. The rooms don’t even have blankets. Just one little bedsheet. | sam morales 1/5 a month ago Definitely not worth the price you pay. Better off staying at a different hotel in the area for the same price. First, booking confirmation email talks about Valet Parking and when you get to the hotel there is clearly a Valet Parking sign in front with no one there. I had to call when I arrived for them to tell me the hotel doesn’t have valet parking. Second, towels are absolutely horrible. They literally feel like sandpaper, bring your own. Third, they don’t give you a blanket. You have to call down to get one. Mini fridge doesn’t keep things cool at all, you’re better better off leaving drinks out to stay cool than place them in the mini fridge. Lastly, we left bathing suits drying in the bathroom and forgot to pack them. I called later that same day after checkout and they told me to call back the next day because housekeeping had left already. When I called back they told us they were going to check the lost and found, then said that housekeeping didn’t find anything in the room. Obviously, our stuff was thrown out. Again, stay somewhere else. Only good thing was that it was across the street from a 24/7 CVS. | Auja The Great 4/5 a month ago With this hotel, you get what you pay for and you don’t get what you don’t pay for. Don’t expect the bells and whistles, but the hotel does serve it’s purpose. It’s outdated, but clean. It’s right on Collins so there are several food choices within a 2-3 minute walk. The restaurant at the hotel was closed during my stay. The beach is also a 2 minute walk away. For the price and location, you can’t really beat this. I was traveling solo so it was cool, but I wouldn’t stay here with my lady for a special occasion. My only issue is they don’t give you a blanket! The beds are made with sheets and nice fluffy pillows, but you have to request a blanket from the front desk. Makes no sense. |

Yolanda Kirk 5/5 2 weeks ago Great place to stay. Center of ocean drive and close to everything. Staff great, room great, a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Only flaw, you have to go to one of their other hotels for extra amenities, a couple blocks. But still 5 stars from me. | Sharon Harshberger 4/5 a month ago The location is a little tricky to find but it is a lovely little boutique hotel right off of south beach. Our room had an ocean facing balcony unfortunately it was locked from the outside and we were not able to use it which was very disappointing. Also the window with ocean views had blinds that will not raise entirely, thus blocking the ocean view. They seem to be almost intentionally blocking the ocean views, which were quite nice… but less so if you have to stand with your head inside the blinds to enjoy them. | Mary Frenci 5/5 a week ago 1.
